Built more than 200 years ago after the last great volcanic eruption in Lanzarote, this corner was built stone by stone by those who crossed the sea looking for a new beginning. They settled in Lajares, where they carefully chose this location: a fertile land, next to a large centenary palm tree and a natural well that collected rainwater from the mountains. Thus Villa Pitaya was born, a refuge of love, peace and life.
